Ingredients (Serves 4)

Fresh seafood & aromatic spices

Fresh Fish Main

Whole Green Gram

1 cup whole moong dal (soaked 6-8 hours)

Onions Flavor

Onions & Green Chilies

1 large onion + 3-4 green chilies (finely chopped)

Ginger Spice

Ginger & Cumin

1" ginger + 1 tsp cumin seeds + salt to taste

Step-by-Step Recipe

Prepare Batter

Grind soaked green gram with ginger, green chilies, cumin, and salt to smooth batter. Batter should be pouring consistency like dosa batter. Let rest 30 mins.

Heat Tawa

Heat iron tawa on medium flame. Sprinkle water to check - should sizzle & evaporate. Wipe with onion cut side for non-stick.

Spread & Cook

Pour ladleful batter, spread thin circle. Sprinkle onions. Drizzle oil around edges. Cook till golden & crisp (3-4 mins). No flipping needed!

Serve Hot

Remove carefully with spatula. Serve immediately with ginger chutney. Crispy edges make it perfect!
