The Golden Fort

Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Quila, is one of the largest fully preserved fortified cities in the world. Built in 1156 AD by Rawal Jaisal, it rises from the Thar Desert and glows golden in sunlight, made entirely of yellow sandstone.
