Soft, spongy and juicy Indian sweet
Rasgulla is a popular Indian sweet made from chhena (paneer) and sugar syrup. It is soft, spongy, and juicy, widely enjoyed across India, especially in West Bengal and Odisha. This delicious dessert is known for its melt-in-mouth texture and light sweetness.
1 liter full cream milk
2 tbsp for curdling milk
1 cup for syrup
Boil milk and add lemon juice to curdle. Strain and wash.
Knead chhena until smooth and make small balls.
Boil balls in sugar syrup for 15 minutes.
Cool and serve chilled.
